Amplitudes
For several models you can obtain numerical values or figures of the predictions for scattering amplitudes. Note that it will calculate only the nuclear amplitude, it does not add the electromagnetic amplitude!!!!!
There are many conventions and notations used for nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitudes. A discussion of amplitude systems for the scattering of spin-1/2 particles is given by Moravcsik, Pauschenwein and Goldstein [1]. This paper also gives the definitions of the amplitude systems and transformations between them. In NN-OnLine we use their conventions.
The amplitude systems supported by NN-OnLine are:
- Saclay amplitudes [2]
- Hoshizaki amplitudes [3]
- Wolfenstein amplitudes [4]
- Helicity amplitudes [5]
- Singlet-triplet amplitudes [3]
